Seamlessly blending fashion and sculpture, Sara Pinto’s practice is defined by a meticulous exploration of material processes. Her work reimagines traditional methods, using them to sculpt and drape forms that become both objects of art and garments for the body.

Rooted between London and Cascais, the seaside town of Lisbon that shaped her early life, Sara began her creative journey at Escola Artística António Arroio, studying screen printing and etching. In 2017, she relocated to London to pursue a BA in Fashion Print at Central Saint Martins, where her interdisciplinary approach took shape.

Sara’s process is a synthesis of photography, object collection, and 3D scanning, capturing and reconfiguring forms to create something entirely new. Through casting fabrication, she transforms original shapes into objects that bridge the natural and the contemporary. Her work exists at the intersection of these realms, envisioning a speculative future that emerges from the world we inhabit today.
